Help bring the next story — A Day in the Life of Insects: Bees. A Ugandan Filmmaker's Cut

Capturing East Africa's Biodiversity Through Film

I'm Nathan Binomugisha, an Independent documentary filmmaker documenting nature's smallest wonders with the biggest stories. Through intimate cinematography, I reveal the intricate worlds of insects and small creatures that often go unnoticed.

My work focuses on showcasing East Africa's rich biodiversity and connecting viewers with the delicate ecosystems that sustain our planet.

My Note to You

We often see insects like bees as a blur in the air, a background hum. We miss the entire city happening at our feet. The farmers, the nurses, the architects all working in a tiny, golden society.

My camera gets close enough to feel the morning dew on a bee's wing and to see the world from the canopy of a wildflower. But this intimate view is what's missing from most nature films. The story is often told from the outside, missing the heartbeat.

I am telling the story from within. This film is my invitation for you to see the world not just as it is, but as it feels; full of purpose, collaboration, and quiet drama.

By supporting this, you are helping to plant a seed of wonder that helps people see their own connection to this tiny, vital world.
